My goal for this week is to show how easy mint is to grow and how diverse it can be as a herb. I adore its fragrance and the different varieties.

I’ve recently started to grow mint, as I heard it was pretty difficult to kill, and this is my top reason for my plant picking, as I don’t have a great track record with plants.

As it happens, mint is very easy to grow and flurishes easily, with a bit of food and not much watering. They need morning sun and then partial sun for the rest of the day.

Pinch off the buds as they grow to make it grow even more.

These two plants are chocolate mint (first image) and apple mint (second image). My three year old loves the chocolate mint, more for the name!
